Special Tour A/1

day boat trip, historical navigation Venice-Padova - Friday and Saturday

  • 08.30 boarding at Venice-S.Marco , Riva degli Schiavoni in front of Caserma Cornoldi near Hotel Metropole. Navigation towards the  Brenta Riviera
  • 09.10 boarding at Fusina, on request; navigation along the Brenta Riviera, crossing the lock of Moranzani lock; raising of the water level; explanations during the navigation of the various Villas seen along the canal , among them "La Malcontenta"
  • stop at Oriago and visit to the Villa Gradenigo ; navigation among villages, locks and swing bridges ; stop at Mira , visit to the Villa Widmann o Villa Barchessa Valmarana; crossing the locks of Mira and Dolo, raising of the water level
  • stop at Dolo and visit to the Old Mills of the XVI century. optional lunch in Dolo; boarding and navigation as far as  Strà, stop for the visit of Villa Pisani
  • Boarding and navigation , crossing the locks of Strà and Noventa Padovana; raising of the water level, navigation along the course of the ancient venetian burchielli
  • optional visit to the wonderful Villa Giovannelli (outside)at Noventa Padovana with its imposing pornaos and its stately steps

Tour A/4

Day boat trip, navigation Venice- Strà - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

  • 08.50 boarding at Venice, St.Mark's Square-Riva degli Schiavoni, in front of Chiesa della Pietà;
  • navigation along the Brenta Riviera; explanations of the various Villas seen along the canal;
  • crossing the lock of Moranzani; raising of the water level
  • stop and visit to Villa Foscari "La Malcontenta"; stop at Oriago for optional lunch;
  • stop at Mira and visit to the Villa Widmann or Villa Barchessa Valmarana; boarding and navigation
  • Crossing the lock of Mira and navigation among villas, villages, locks and swing bridges;
  • Crossing the lock of Dolo; arrival at Stra, visit to the Villa Pisani;

On request, transfer by coach as far as the main bus terminal P.le Boschetti, arrival about 18.30 end of our services.

 

Special Tour B/1

Day boat trip, historical navigation Padova-Venice- Friday, Saturday and Sunday

  • 08.10 boarding at Padova from the landing stage of the Porte Contarine, heart of the historical city or 08.30 from the Scalinata del Portello of the XVI century, old river harbour of the city and navigation along the course of the ancient venetian burchielli
  • Optional visit to the wonderful Villa Giovanelli at Noventa Padovana, with its imposing pronaos and its stately steps.Crossing the lock of Noventa Padovana , lowering of the water level;  navigation along the course of the ancient venetian boats. Explanations of the wonderful Villa Giovannelli at Noventa Padovana; crossing the lock of Strà
  • arrival at Strà and visit of Villa Pisani; navigation as far as Dolo
  • visit to the Old Mills of the XVI century
  • Stop off at restaurant for optional lunch;
  • Boarding and crossing the lock of Dolo,  lowering of the water level. Navigation among villages and swing bridges; crossing the lock of Mira, lowering of the water level; explanations during the navigation of the various Villas seen along the canal
  • Stop at Mira and visit to the Villa Widmann or Villa Barchessa Valmarana. Stop at Oriago and visit to the Villa Gradenigo
  • Explanations of the different Villas seen along the canal , among them "La Malcontenta". Crossing the lock of Moranzani, lowering of the water level. Arrival at Fusina about 18.30 or at Venice-S. Marco or Tronchetto about 19.15

Tour B/2

Day boat trip, navigation Strà–Venice – Wednesday, Friday and Sunday

  • (08.00, transfer by coach from Padua - main bus terminal P.le Boschetti to Strà-Villa Pisani, on request)
  • 08.45 - meeting at Strà and visit of Villa Pisani ; boarding explanations of the various Villas seen along the canal, crossing the lock of Dolo; navigation among villas, villages and swing bridges; crossing the lock of Mira
  • stop at Mira and visit to the Villa Widmann or Villa Barchessa Valmarana; boarding and navigation , stop off at restaurant for optional lunch;
  • stop, visit to the Villa Foscari "La Malcontenta", navigation as far as Venice; arrival about 18.30/19.00. End of services.

Tour G/1

Half day boat trip, navigation Dolo - Venice: Sunday

  • 13.20 meeting in Dolo and visit to the Old Mills of the XVI century;
  • 13.50 boarding and navigation among villas, villages and swing bridges; crossing the locks of Dolo and Mira
  • stop at Mira and visit to the Villa Widmann or Villa Barchessa Valmarana,
  • stop at Oriago and visit to the Villa Gradenigo;
  • explanations during the navigation of the various Villas seen along the canal , including la Malcontenta
  • arrival at Fusina about 18.30 or at Venice piazza S. Marco o Tronchetto about 19.15

The above rates include:

  • The navigation
  • The guide
  • The entrance-fees of the Villa Gradenigo (or Villa Malcontenta) and Villa Widmann or Villa Barchessa Valmarana
  • The entrance-fees to the Villa Pisani and Villa Giovanelli are not included;Villa Pisani is free for the citizens of E.U. under 18 and over 65 years by showing an identity document., Entrance-fees to the Villa Pisani and Giovanelli cost Euro 5,00

Optional fish menu of Euro 24,00 foresees a starter with a seafood salad ; two "bits" of two different first courses with fish; a second course of backed mixed fisch with vegetables; home made dessert and beverages.

Please note that the navigation is one way only. Our guests are free to choose time and transport for their return trip. The main options are: by bus ( frequent runs-about 45 minutes from Venice to Padua) or by train (20 minutes, departures every 30 minutes )

Packages of stay at Padua are also available at special rates:

Each package includes:

CONDIZIONi PER LA PRENOTAZIONE DEI POSTI – GENERAL TERMS AND TOUR REGULATIONS in italian language only

1. I contratti di viaggio di cui al presente programma si intendono regolati dalla legge n. 1084 del 27/12/1977 (CCV), nonché dal DL 111/1995. La responsabilità della società non può in nessun caso eccedere i limiti previsti dalla legge citata. L’accettazione della prenotazione è subordinata alla disponibilità dei posti e si intende perfezionata con la conferma e con il pagamento del saldo.

2. L’ Organizzatore si riserva la facoltà di modificare o annullare il viaggio in caso di forza maggiore. L’Organizzazione può ugualmente annullare il contratto senza indennità quando il numero minimo dei viaggiatori (35 persone) previsto nei programmi non sia raggiunto. I posti non sono numerati. Non trattandosi di un servzio di trasporto pubblico di linea, ma di un pacchetto di viaggio regolato e diffuso si sensi della L.R. 44 del 30.12.97, la prenotazione è obbligatoria.

3. La mancata partenza dei battelli, dovuta a ragione tecnica o comunque a cause di forza maggiore indipendenti dalle volontà dell’Organizzatore, dà diritto al solo rimborso del costo del viaggio pagato. L’organizzatore non può essere ritenuto responsabile per la chiusura improvvisa ed imprevista delle Ville in programma così come per ritardi o interruzioni di viaggio provocati da problemi inerenti le manovre  di apertura delle Conche o dei ponti dipendenti dalla pubblica amministrazione o da ordinanze improvvise di chiusura della navigazione.

4. Non è ammesso il trasporto di animali se non chiusi in gabbia; non è consentito il trasporto di bagaglio se non piccolo borse a mano; non è consentito l’uso di materiale fotografico all’interno delle Ville. L’organizzatore non risponde degli oggetti personali lasciati a bordo durante le soste.

5. Al momento della conferma del viaggio va versato il saldo della prenotazione.

In caso di rinuncia al viaggio verranno applicate le seguenti penali:

- 50% se la disdetta avviene fino a 15 giorni prima della partenza del viaggio

- 75% se la disdetta avviene fino a 7 giorni prima della partenza del viaggio; intera quota di viaggio dopo tale termine o in caso di mancata presentazione

6. Per ogni eventuale controversia, sarà competente il Foro di Padova.
